Yes, you may sell your off-plan property before it is completed. Some developers, however, request a minimum percentage of the payment plan to be paid before the property is resold. This minimum payment is usually around 30%, although it differs between developers so best to check.

To list your property in Dubai, you will need to provide a valid Title Deed/Oqood copy and a copy of the owner’s passport. For rentals, you are required to sign a listing form, while for sales, you need to approve a digital contract issued by The Dubai Land Department for the advertising of your property.

If you intend to sell your property, it is advisable to inform your tenant and issue a written notice through the Dubai Notary, for them to vacate. The legal notice period is 12 months, which we recommend serving, as the new buyer might be an end user wishing to move into the property. This ensures a smooth transition for all parties involved.
